Based around green vegetables such as spinach or kale, these type often produce a very dark or bright green mix and green smoothies are best made and drunk from fresh and as quickly as possible to maximize the mineral and vitamin content. Greens can be difficult to fit into your meals everyday and by blending they become easier to digest. Again the addition of sweeter vegetables or fruit can make it even easier and tastier to “eat your greens”.
