These are based on fruits and are what most people traditionally think of as a smoothie. They can be the creamy type usually mixed with milk and/or yoghurt or fruit juice based and because of the fruit are often quite sweet and more palatable to the smoothie novice. Fruit smoothies are full of nutrients and energy they have an added advantage of pure fruit juices as they contain all the fibre of the fruit by using the whole fruit.
